Google Pixel 7 Release Date

Google has launched the flagship smartphone Pixel 7 series in its biggest event of the year on October 6. Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro smartphones have been launched under this series. Google has also launched the Pixel Watch and Pixel Tablet along with the Pixel 7 series.

The company has launched these products at the Made by Google event in New York. Both smartphones are equipped with Tensor T2 processor. Pixel 7 supports a 6.3-inch display and the Pixel 7 Pro supports a 6.7-inch display.

Pixel 7 Series Price

The starting price of Google Pixel 7 is Rs 59,999 and the starting price of Pixel 7 Pro is Rs 84,999. Google Pixel 7 has been introduced in Snow, Obsidian and Lemongrass colors.

Pixel 7 Pro will be available in Hazel, Obsidian and Snow color options. Both smartphones can be purchased from Flipkart from October 13. The company is also going to give a cashback of Rs 6,000 on Pixel 7 and Rs 8,500 on Pixel 7 Pro as special offers.

Pixel 7 Pro specifications and features

Google Pixel 7 Pro is introduced in a zirconia-blasted aluminum body design. The phone features a 6.7-inch LTPO OLED display, which comes with (3,120 x 1,440 pixels) resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate.

The smartphone supports Titan M2 processor for security along with Tensor G2 processor. Pixel 7 Pro comes with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

Google Pixel 7 Pro comes with VPN (Virtual Private Network) support. However, till now the company has not given information whether this feature will be made available to Indian users or not. The Google Pixel 7 Pro features a triple camera setup, with a 50MP primary camera. The primary camera comes with 2X zoom. The second lens gets a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle and the third is a 48-megapixel telephoto lens. 30x super resolution zoom and 5x optical zoom are supported with the telephoto lens.

The phone has a 10.8 megapixel selfie camera. Cinematic videos can also be shot with the Google Pixel 7 Pro.

The phone supports 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port for connectivity. The phone gets an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

Regarding the phone’s battery, the company claims that the phone supports fast charging and provides up to 72 hours of backup with battery saver mode.
